2019 The Year of Self Care
It's the start of another new year believe it or not! I waited until the first full week of the new year to post this so we could all settle in a bit. Leave the craziness of the holidays be firmly in our rearview.
I don't know about you but I love resolutions. There is something about this time of year, and starting fresh that really appeals to me. I like the idea of looking to the future and thinking about my goals, of where I want to be this time next year. Plus I'm really big into making lists and making resolutions is the perfect fit!
But this year I've decided to do something a little different. I've decided to make 2019 the year of self care. I have so many things in my life I want to adjust by this time next year that I didn't want to overwhelm myself before I even got started. I also think that many of the changes I want to make are small things that will lead to big things. This year I'm trying to think of my resolutions as a gift to myself rather than obligations.
So if you've already left your resolutions behind one week in, or you didn't make any this year or a year of self care just sounds really appealing then join me! We can support each other and end up I think in a really great place come December 31st 2019.
First thing I'll be working on is my Morning Routine. I currently don't really have one so this has been a goal of mine for a while. If you're looking to tweak your morning routine, or you're like me a don't really have one, maybe take a pen to paper this week a jot down some ideas on how you would like your ideal morning to look.
